These screen shots are from 1956 or 1957 and are of the kids that appeared on WOC TV 6 Davenport, Iowa on the popular show Comic CutUps starring Ken Wagner on that particular day's episode. Ken was the first Captain of the Dixie Belle on The Cartoon Showboat.
WOC did not save tapes of their live programming. This film was missing for exactly 50 years and was found in 2007. We are looking for the children who appeared on this show. They most likely attended grade school in the WOC TV 6 viewing area and would be in their mid to late 50's today.
During the show they gave their names. Unfortunately, the boom mic was too high on the set when they were speaking and the voices are too soft to be heard in some cases. However, some names are clearly identifiable.
The first girl (on the left) identifies herself. Ken Wagner hears her name as Linda Sue Good. Whether or not he got her last name correct, it does sound like she calls herself Linda but even that is not for sure. The next girl (in the middle) can not be understood.
The girl on the left most likely said that her name is Elizabeth Ann Chenoweth. The girl with long black hair on the right can not be understood.
The next girl's name is Judy, last name can not be understood.
This boy's name is Mark Stone. He is sitting on the far right.
This next boy can not be understood.
The next boy's name is Kevin Stone. He has his hand on his chin.
This boy (on the left in the Scout uniform) sounds like his first name is possibly Craig.
This boy is Gary Pittman.
This next boy is Andy Carlson.
The last boy's first name is Mike, his last name is hard to understand but it may be Sullivan.
