Marjorie Meinert and WOC Musical Director George Sontag were the musical force both behind the scenes and on the set of WOC TV and Radio. Her musical background playing at the station along with her numerous shows both solo and with George Sontag set the tone for the station's programming from the 1940's forward on the radio side and from the dawn of WOC TV in 1949 until 1970.
