Sandy's fan Tony Cadle remembers Sandy's in Kankakee, Illinois as well as Peru, Illinois!
Hi, I'm 51 years old, born in 1956. When I was about 12 to 13 yrs. old I used to ride my bike to Sandy's in Kankakee, IL. This was built as Sandy's and was Sandy's until Hardees took over, don't remember a year. Several years later I learned there was one in the LaSalle/Perue area about 100 mi. away, this was 1973. Drove that far several times for the Big Scot. Loved that sauce!
